“Great getaway close to Louisville”

A perfect little fall getaway. I wanted nature, a beautiful view from my accommodations & quiet time & I got all 3. The restaurant & staff were exceptional. I didn't like not having a refrigerator or microwave in the room & the water pressure in the shower was seriously lacking. It was a challenge to get clean.

“It was great for the area!”

It was spacious, had a master bath, and was quiet. The beach area wasn’t open, and there were spiderwebs on the back porch

Very peaceful setting. Enjoyed walking trails. Staff was very kind & caring. Shower curtain was a bit moldy also smelled moldy. May just need a bit more cleaning

“Great location, poor state of affairs otherwise.”

Loved the location. Staff was excellent. The rooms air conditioner leaked into my luggage. I filled up 3 ice buckets from it before checking out after finding it that same day. It ruined the trip and caused us to check out early. All the amenities were closed. Aside from the pool that was closed the first 2 days but opened for 2 days as well. The bathroom tub leaked. The toilets flush quickly but fill up at a snails pace, making sharing the only bathroom uncomfortable at best. The only things to do required you to spend money when you had already spent that money to stay at the resort that was supposed to have the fun

“Wonderful relaxing places for a couple to come and stay to get away and enjoy each other.”

The rooms were very nice. Very comfortable beds and the balcony was really nice. The pool was wonderful. Lots of room to sit and play games or just relax. We wish we could have enjoyed the restaurant but we stayed on Monday and Tuesday and it was closed. Also, great hiking as we hiked both trails. Excited to see how things look once the beach and marina is restored from the floods. No negatives about our stay
