The property’s charm, uniqueness, and style are appealing, and it’s located in a pleasant part of Columbia close to many restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. However, the amenities listed on the website were missing: no game room, no workout room, and no appetizers or wine tasting as shown in the photos. For the price we paid for one night, a hot breakfast should have been provided. Our room had several burnt‑out light bulbs, the bathmat was unraveling at the seam, and the outside deck and cushions were worn, faded, and torn. Small details matter, especially at that price.
