The small hotel was great, perfect for walking around Freiburg’s old town, the reception was friendly, the rooms were beautiful, and the food in the restaurant was very tasty; it was ideal for our girls’ trip, we felt very comfortable, the public underground garage was close and guests get a discount, and I would book this hotel again.

The spot is great, right in the old town, but the shower tap feels a bit worn out and the temperature control isn’t very user‑friendly. The extra single bed isn’t very comfortable, and it would help to know in advance how to park because you can’t drive into the old town.

The only real issue that became unavoidable to mention is the lack of air conditioning. We stayed just before Ferragosto and the temperature hit 39 °C, so the absence of AC at night wasn’t offset by the fan.
