The price‑to‑quality ratio was great—my room cost 300 vnd. It was a tiny room with gaps in the door and lousy sound insulation. The hotel itself is old, but the location is superb, right by the lake and the market, and there’s a balcony overlooking the city. When we got cold, the owner kindly gave us a heater. They also cook on site, so you can eat there, and the owner is very friendly. For that amount of money, finding a decent hotel in Sa Pa is tough.
