The view was gorgeous, the food tasty, and the staff were really helpful. The rooms looked lovely and felt like a little slice of paradise. The mattresses were a bit worn and a bit tired, but it was the end of the holiday so that didn’t matter much. The lake right below the property is great, but you have to walk almost a kilometer to get to the water.

The lakeside spot was nice, and the riding lessons were good and reasonably priced. The rooms were cute but tiny, and the mosquito problem on the walls was a bit annoying. Live music evenings were fun for the kids, and the playground was decent except for that squeaky red carousel that was just a pain. The reception felt a bit unfriendly and made you feel like a nuisance; they told us we could only check in at 12:30, then complained that check‑in was actually at 2 p.m.
The location is great for hiking and swimming, but there’s not much else to say.

We spent a lovely family holiday at Haflinger Hof. The weather could have been better, but that’s life. The location is perfect for kids, and the apartment was huge with new bathrooms, a big kitchen, and spacious rooms. The staff were friendly and the food was great. We’ll definitely come back.
