“I am grateful God blessed me with the money to pay to stay however it was the roaches for me.”
I was very grateful that I had a place to stay for the week. I had hot water to bath for work, and the facility is conveniently located 20 minutes from my job verse driving 45 minutes. Upon entering the room and flipping the light on I immediately noticed roaches and they were everywhere. I left went to family dollar and purchased roach spray. I purchased 3 cans before the week was over, I had used all 3 cans. I work in the night I came in after 12 midnight every night and I had to spray to get the roaches to go away so I can lay down. I had to spray the tub to get in they were all in the tub. I sprayed around the bed and that is how I slept. My first night I made the mistake and failed to not do that and woke up out my sleep with one crawling on me and 2 in the bed with me. Also, the refrigerator never worked I asked for help on that and was told that they would replace it. It was never replaced. I wanted to stay another week because it is close to my job. However, it is an unhealthy environment. I have vowed to not settle for anything that could put me in harm's way. I paid 386.00 online then got to the facility and paid another 50$ for deposit and I was told that would be returned on my checkout date it has not been refunded yet. I will be contacting someone in management regarding this by the way. I am giving it a week to appear in my account
