A beautifully restored old house with a very friendly welcome. Extras like a coffee machine or a pavilion were surprises that I hadn’t expected. The city centre is not far, and the neighbourhood is quite quiet. It could have been identified via Maps, but it’s not especially central. Public transport is okay but not great.

“Fantasticno”

I was initially skeptical when booking this apartment, but upon arrival the owner was incredibly friendly, approachable, and made a real effort to communicate in both English and German, which was impressive given he's an older gentleman in Hungary where English isn’t common. He even guided me to the parking, shops, a pizzeria, and a bakery, which surprised me pleasantly. The place is an old villa turned into a guesthouse, styled with a lot of flair; it feels more like a chic hostel than a typical lodging. The kitchen and dining area are spacious, clean, and well equipped. The rooms are large, each with its own bathroom, and feature stunning blue wallpaper with star patterns—if someone had told me those star‑patterned blue walls could so beautifully brighten a space, I wouldn’t have believed them. The interior designer of the villa deserves a shout‑out for doing such a great job. Overall, the property exceeded my expectations.

It felt like home. The owners were sweet, caring, and tidy, and there’s a courtyard with a gazebo. It’s far from the city center, but buses run frequently.
