Ranil and his family were incredibly warm and always ready to help (phone, etc.), and the shopping spots were just a short walk away. The house is large and beautiful, and the beach proximity is excellent, making me feel very safe and almost at home! What could I not like here?

The location is just 25 m from the beach, and the friendliness of the family and the surrounding area is fantastic. The food and practical tips for staying in Kamburugamuwa are great. Nothing disappointed me!

The best thing is the location: 50 m from a beautiful, quiet beach with low waves suitable for swimming and deep water over 2 m. The family is very friendly, owns two rooms above their house, and you reach them via a private entrance; they provide a good breakfast that you can customize. It would be nice to have snorkeling gear, as I saw large sea turtles coming to breathe from the shore and lizards 1–1.5 m long walking on the beach, searching for turtle eggs at night. I can’t think of any negatives!
