The Marcy Hotel

“The staff was very helpful and this would be a decent mid-level hotel except for the street noise.”

The hotel sits in the city center, surrounded by many shops, but there was no elevator or AC, and the room we received barely allowed us to walk around the bed. The parking lot was a block away, and the most annoying issue was the relentless street noise that kept us awake all night on Saturday; we even received ear plugs at check‑in.

“Just don’t bother”

The room was tiny, very warm, and the walls were paper‑thin, so I could hear conversations and even people fornicating. There was no water to drink and I couldn’t get anything to eat when I arrived at 9 pm. All of this was horrendous.

“A cosy hotel in a convenient location, but cleanliness, soundproofing and overall comfort could be improved.”

The location was convenient, and the hotel had a warm and cosy atmosphere overall. The cleanliness could be improved. When I first entered the room, I found some hair on the bed. The room was also very cramped. I stayed on the third floor and there was no lift, which was inconvenient with luggage. The soundproofing was very poor as well, and I was woken up in the morning by the noise of a vacuum cleaner

The stay was pleasant overall.
