I was on a Via Claudia Augusta bike tour and found a place to stay with secure bike storage (though it was in a side building, which made logistics a bit tricky). Still, I had everything I needed. The property had no restaurant, but they offered to make a frozen pizza; in hindsight I should have taken them up on that. I ate in town, but that meal was the worst I’ve had on my entire trip. Breakfast at the inn was very fine.

Breakfast was simple but good, and the bike parking was convenient with a nice drying area for wet gear from the Alpenüberquerung; the only downside was the heavy use of single‑use packaging at breakfast, which could be more sustainable.
