“Great location but accommodation just not suitable for us”
The location was lovely and the peaceful surroundings, complete with sheep, were a highlight; the shower and bathroom were clean. The room was very small, the bed cramped for us older couple, especially the taller one, and we had to climb over the bed to reach the bathroom. There was no space beside the bed, and sleeping in the kitchen was not appealing; we also expected Wi‑Fi.
The place was brilliant and easy to find, we had a lovely stay, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The location was fabulous—quiet and peaceful. Even though it was small, it had everything needed; the hot tub was fabulous and the view amazing, and the Orkney treats were a lovely addition. The only downside was the weather.

We were thrilled with Butterfly Lodge; every possible amenity had been considered, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom with its excellent shower was a bonus. We would suggest Lily's Lodges because it's quiet yet close to Kirkwall. We loved everything.

The view, location and standard of the residence were excellent, and there was nothing at all to complain about.
