The host kept pushing to settle the deal outside the booking system and then ignored my reservation when I didn't agree. It felt like they were trying to get around the rules and left me hanging. Not happy with that approach. [/BODY]

The boutique‑style house sits in a great part of town and the room I stayed in was spotless, which I appreciated. Unfortunately the room backs onto the garage, so any car pulling in at night makes a lot of noise and can wake you up. There was no welcome mat for muddy shoes, no trash bin in the room, and the bathroom waste basket lacked a liner, making it feel a bit unhygienic.
