“One of the worst accommodation experiences ever!”

Nothing really good to say. The listing looked very promising, but the location and photos were entirely misleading. If it’s not in a location I would have called “Venice” and we didn’t realize it was going to take us multiple boats and buses with additional costs to get there. I hadn’t noticed that they have an 8 PM check-in/10 AM Check out, which is absurd! The photos imply you will have access to the whole boat with three sleeping berths. There was a toilet and sink aboard but I don’t think it specifically mentioned showers would have to be taken in the public marina restrooms. The boat owner did agree to let us check in earlier around 4 PM but the boat was a disaster. We came home around 11 PM and had been locked out of the marina and had to scale fence to get back to the boat. He only provided us one of the very small front berths. We came back to find the owner was sleeping in the master bedroom and his cleanup job had been abysmal! My daughter and I were so uncomfortable upon realizing he was sleeping on the boat without us realizing that would happen. We literally made a run for it around midnight and had to pay for an additional overpriced taxi, last minute new hotel room, and then all the costs again to finally get to Venice proper the next day. We lost an entire day of our quick trip. By far, one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had

FRAUD WARNING: Instead of a boat being rented, the owners actually only rent a capsule for sleeping, while the owners themselves are living on the boat. This was a shock to us. It is a very tight space and we rented it for a family of 4. It was not disclosed that 2 more people are staying at the same boat. When we complained to they handled the situation in a very unprofessional way and aggravated it. The owner became hostile and threatened us. We could not stay there and ended up driving half the night straight home while getting no refund :((( Later I saw other similar reviews here and it seems the owners keep deceived people with no consequences :(((. It was a special experience with very friendly hosts, a great location offering spectacular sunsets, and everything was very clean and well maintained.

“Surprise inattendue!”

The location relative to the quay and parking was fine, but the boat left abruptly for the sea while I was having breakfast and still had all my belongings on board, without any prior notice. I couldn't reheat any food, and the cabin was cramped.
