The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, the location is great, the character room is charming, breakfast was delicious, and the on‑site parking was a big plus. However, the mattress needs replacement and the room lacks daylight.
“Perfect location to relax and be pampered in Chania”
Alexandra and Andreas are two of the nicest people you’ll meet, and they make ensuring your stay is perfect a priority; their recommendations and advice were spot‑on. Breakfast is to die for, with more egg options than I knew existed. The courtyard for breakfast is very private and quiet, shared with only two other couples. The bedroom is a good size, with a very comfortable large bed, an excellent bath/shower, and good air conditioning. It feels private yet is so close to the centre of Chania, and it even has private car parking. Nothing negative – it was excellent.

The location in the old town near the harbor is ideal, parking is available, the décor is beautiful and very stylish, the bath features a powerful rain shower, and the hosts Alexandra and Andreas are extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with many choices, prepared by Alexandra and served beautifully in the patio; we even got a few Cretan pancakes to take to the beach, and beach towels were provided. The only drawback is that there is no separate outdoor space to sit or lie down if you stay in room 2 (The Roxelane Suite); you can sit in the patio but there are no lounge chairs, and the two windows are frosted with milk glass, preventing you from looking outside.

The location is brilliant, Alexandra and Andreas treat you like friends, the breakfast is fabulous, and private parking is available. We’ll be back! The shower is great, the bed is great, the living room is very comfy, and the quirky interior is lovely. The only small criticism: please use larger amenities, there is too much plastic waste, and in our room the three drawers were full of extra stuff for the room, leaving no space for our belongings, though the hanging space was enough.
