The location is convenient for the next day’s drive. It isn’t the motel’s fault, but the dinner at Diggers Club and a couple of drinks were pricey, plus a 15 % surcharge for the long weekend. The motel itself was fine, check‑in was easy, but it’s always nicer to see a real person.

The spot’s proximity to the local club, the beach, and the shopping strip was a win, and the swimming pool was sparkling clean, but overall I was just happy all round.

The cleaners aren’t friendly, don’t like dogs, and employ an Aussie, and the same rude Aussie cleaners made the stay unpleasant.
