A cozy house on a family‑run farm, very welcoming owners, a small but comfortable room with a balcony and an amazing mountain view – we were glad to stay here.

Breakfast was top quality, but the wooden chairs were uncomfortable and rigid; the balcony chairs were cozy with cushions, and I even placed one in my room.

The Hohe Tauern Sommercard, which lets you use various attractions like cable cars for free, is especially commendable. The room was very clean and had a warm, homely feel thanks to the abundant wood. Watching the cows in the barn, learning a lot, and even participating (barn times around 5:20 and 16:30) was fantastic for the kids—just bring suitable shoes and clothes because the cow droppings can spray high in the arch, and the smell is something city folks need to get used to. The breakfast items are very natural, with cheese and eggs coming straight from the farm. Honest photos here. A hair dryer in the bathroom would be great, and a couple more rolls (you could ask, but it would be nicer if they were already available) would be appreciated.

Everything was great: the breakfast, all farm‑produced, was super tasty; the rooms were spotless, and the mountain view was simply dream‑like. Nothing to complain about.
