The bungalow felt large and was well kept by the owner, while a caring caretaker handled daily tasks. Mr. Fernando, the owner, and Mr. Anthony, the housekeeper, were remarkably generous, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It felt like a home away from home, offering comfort and warmth, and their hospitality was outstanding; the property’s security also gave me peace of mind. The weather in Nuwara Eliya can be extremely cold and bone‑chilling, especially for those not used to it, and it’s quite unpredictable. Inside the room, brighter white lighting would be better, and the bathroom mirror needs proper lighting so my wife could touch up her face more easily. The owner might want to add a heater, either for a fee or included in the room rate.

I stayed at this bungalow with my mom and daughter for two nights, and the property’s safety was excellent, which reassured us. The location was very convenient, close to the town’s attractions, and I appreciated the service from the two staff members who were genuine, polite, and attentive throughout. The recent upgrades to the amenities added to our comfort, though a few areas still need improvement.

It’s a basic place tucked away in a quiet corner of Nuwara Eliya, with very friendly and attentive staff and good value for money. The rooms are basic, only one bedsheet on the bed, and the bathroom is very simple but functional. It’s not within walking distance of the main attractions.

The staff were polite, and breakfast included a good omelet. However, the room was extremely cold at 15 °C with no heating or air‑conditioning to warm it up, so we had to wear shoes because the floor was so cold. We slept fully dressed under two blankets that had no covers, and we’re not sure who used them before us. There was a wet smell in the rooms and bathroom, and we didn’t get enough hot water for a shower. We booked two rooms with baths but received two rooms with a shared bath, which didn’t match the description. We stayed only one night and left right after breakfast.
