We stayed there in the low season. The hotel is very, very nice. The room design is great. They only have 8 rooms and the pool is spotless clean. It’s a 3 min. walk to the beach but very quiet. They have a lovely garden and everything is maintained well. I would prefer this hotel over any big 5‑star hotel in Sri Lanka. It’s impressive how much you get for your money. 100% recommendation. Nothing at all.

I liked the beach proximity and the good location. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned regularly. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. The room had a safe and a small fridge. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. We would spend our vacation here again. PS in the sea we swam with turtles and had a lot of fun. Everything was okay. Please note that the room can only be paid for with cash.

We stayed at Hiding Unawatuna Escape and found it even more stunning than the pictures, with a tranquil vibe, a lovely pool, and a tidy garden. The team were extremely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was fresh and tasty. Even in the off‑season it felt lively and relaxing, so I’d definitely recommend it. Nothing stood out as a problem; everything lived up to our expectations and we truly enjoyed the stay.
