“Cadre idyllique”

The setting is gorgeous and the kids had plenty of fun with the indoor pool, animals, and games; the owners, though busy, responded quickly to any questions. The bedding was too narrow and some toiletries were missing, like hand soap in the bathroom. Two sticks of coffee with two small sachets of sugar would have been perfect after a late arrival to start the first day while waiting for groceries.

I loved being close to nature and the heated pool was a real highlight.

“Dejlige omgivelser på landet.”

It’s a lovely countryside spot with several cottages on the farm, so there are more neighbors. We’re used to having our own house and pool when traveling, but it was still quiet and cozy. We booked an extra day on the fly (3 days total). The host was welcoming. The ground floor felt a bit worn and dusty, with sofas covered in rugs and other worn items.

The renovated old house has character, the pool is nice for swimming, and the kitchen is well furnished. However, there were a lot of flies everywhere, probably because of nearby horses. The shower leaked down one floor unless you carefully aim the water, the first step of the stairs is loose and can cause you to trip, and the Wi‑Fi was out for three days.
