The château and garden were beautiful, yet nothing had been prepared before we arrived: the pool was unclean, the lawn maintenance was neglected, ongoing work woke us up, the bed and room cleaning were missing, breakfast was overpriced, check‑in was late and check‑out too early to fully enjoy the château, and it was impossible to reach the booking customer service to change our dates while the AI service failed to recognize the secret code provided at booking.

The château was sumptuous without being ostentatious, the access was very easy, Magalie, our host, was very courteous, and the furniture quality was impeccable; the striking chandeliers were a highlight, rarely seen in public‑facing venues.

We had an amazing time at this stunning castle - it was almost like having the place to ourselves, with just one other couple around. Everything was clean and well-cared for, and the location was really peaceful. The shared kitchen was superbly equipped, and the pool was lovely, with towels provided in the rooms. The host was easy to reach, even if there wasn't anyone on-site - we'd definitely go back!
