We stayed in a huge, beautifully appointed apartment that had everything we needed, plus a fantastic view and a balcony that was perfect for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly friendly, though the pillows were a bit too thick for my liking; still managed to get a good night's sleep.

The place is in an ideal spot: the ski bus stops right in front and the cable car is only a ten‑to‑fifteen‑minute walk away. However, at around four in the afternoon the owners' kids showed up and asked us to turn down the music, which felt a bit intrusive, and despite confirming beforehand that an extra guest was fine, they seemed surprised on arrival and demanded an extra fee, which caught us off guard.

We were greeted warmly and the hosts were always on hand to help; the view from the room was spectacular and the interior was tidy and authentically styled. The only downside was the lack of kitchen equipment, which made cooking a bit tricky.
