“Podsumowując nie było źle, ale nie skorzystałbym ponownie.”
The location was close to the train station. The contact person spoke only broken Italian, which made communication difficult. It felt odd to have to pay a deposit through an external, suspicious third party; although the money was refunded, the discomfort remained. The insistence on moving the conversation to WhatsApp instead of using the official Booking chat was annoying. Additionally, being required to take out the trash yourself at checkout, with no access to external bins, was quite troublesome.
“Naprosto ideální”
The host was extremely friendly and communicated well, even though I struggled with the self‑check‑in; he patiently helped me in Italian, which took a bit longer. Other than that, everything was fine and I was completely satisfied. The only downside was the noise from the nearby train station, which is expected for a location like this, and the short stay was otherwise perfect.
“Une expérience vraiment très désagréable”
Three days before arrival, we were asked via WhatsApp to pay the tourist tax and a 70‑euro deposit on a site specific to the property; on the day itself, the staff asked us again, not realizing it had already been paid. We entered the room on our own at the scheduled time. The air conditioning was broken, making the room unbearably hot during the heatwave; a backup unit by the window was loud and ineffective. The night was terrible, and we had to open the windows to get any cool air and endure the train noise. The staff never responded to the complaint. I cannot understand why tourism professionals would not inform guests that the room lacks air conditioning or offer a commercial gesture. Additionally, it took three weeks of messaging and contacting Booking to recover the 70‑euro deposit.
Being close to the train station was a plus, but the check‑in process was awful and the bunk beds felt unstable and potentially dangerous.
The location was good, but getting into the room felt like a trip to Forte Knox! The 70‑euro deposit was a hassle, and overall the place seemed to lack flexibility.
