Breakfast was perfect, hearty, and of very good quality, and the welcome was very pleasant—thanks FREDERIK for our kind conversations at breakfast. The road was a bit noisy, but we can’t complain; everything else was perfect.

The welcome was very good; Frédéric is a very kind and helpful person, and we had a great stay at La Grenouille. There was nothing we didn’t appreciate—everything was simple and natural, and Frédéric enjoys having a small coffee in the morning with his guests; it’s perfect, keep it up.

I was welcomed like a family member and the place had a lot of charm, just like a cozy home.

We liked the simplicity and the host Frederik’s welcome. The room was simple yet practical, clean, and comfortable. The setting is simply beautiful. The road is close, but the host’s friendliness makes up for it. The only downside, as I mentioned before, is the road. Cars drive too fast. It’s not the owners’ fault, but a speed limit would help.

The place was originally a biker lodge, but the owner wants to open it up to other travelers, like hikers such as ourselves. It’s an old building that used to be a post office. The reception was very friendly. There’s a pool across the road where you can relax after the hike. The value for money is excellent for the area. The road has a lot of traffic during the day, but it’s quieter at night, which is better.
