“Bon séjour”
Everything was very good. The lack of a refrigerator in the room, the poor internet connection, and the absence of an elevator to reach the rooms were disappointing.
The spot is spot on and the staff feel like family, but the bed was really hard, the shower leaked water and the toilet floor stayed wet, plus loud music played all day.
The front desk was helpful and got my booking sorted fast, yet the room was a bit far, up a flight of stairs, with a cramped bathroom and a hot, low‑pressure shower.
The location was convenient and close to town. Breakfast was cold and much of what was advertised had already been depleted by 8.30 am.
“We stayed at the ACK many years ago and it was good to be back and see the improvements and familiar faces. We love ACK.”
The grounds were beautiful. There was no air conditioning.
