Location and car parking area. 1. Bathroom shower not functioning. 2. Bedcover was smelly and matts are very dirty. 3. There is proper bathroom accessories. 4. Complementary food not to the standard. 5. Staffs are not friendly. 6. Not as per Hotel standard for the price

Staying at VPN Residency was disappointing and fell short of expectations. The room’s air conditioning didn’t work well for the size, making it uncomfortable. There was no way to order morning tea, coffee, or snacks, which guests usually expect. Breakfast started after 7.30 AM but the selection was very limited, and the toaster didn’t work. It seemed the hotel had only one or two chefs, causing long waits for food, especially at dinner. Menu options were sparse, and the dining room’s air conditioning was inadequate, making it hard to sit in May‑June heat. The hotel has potential, but room amenities, food service, staffing, and guest convenience need improvement.

Only ONE th8ng - Room was clean. Staff attitude at the Reception was disgusting. Most casual and disrespectful staff I have ever encountered. I have travelled around the world and lived in hotels of various classes, but never encountered such rude and disrespectful staff. Have been visiting Vailankanni every year since 1983, ie. 40+ years and tried Hotel VPN Residency for the first time, and surely the last time. The Buffet Breakfast was sub standard and the staff attending were probably worse behaved than the Reception staff. Overall disgusting Hotel, not worth the money spent, and the most disgusting staff. Their attitude was rude, disrespectful and extremely casual, giving a paying Hotel guest the feeling that the guest was staying free, and the staff was never paid a salary by the Hotel management. Please do not promote this third grade Hotel, or Booking. Com will earn a bad name too. The hotel management needs a wakeup call for sure, or in a short time they will have to shut down
