“Beautiful lakeside getaway.”

The spot sits right on the lakeshore and feels pretty nice. The on‑site restaurant is worth a visit, especially the lake fish. The staff are genuinely friendly, and arranging activities like boat tours, snorkeling with cichlids, or hiking is a breeze. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it’s still a delight. The only downsides were things beyond their control: the road to the hotel, even through the town, is very rough, and there were occasional power outages.

“In die Jahre gekommen”

The owner’s friendliness stood out. The food was simple, good, and plentiful, and watching the sunset over the lake from the mini‑terraces in front of each room was a dream. The showers were a dripping shower with barely any water, many things were heavily worn, the beds were uncomfortable, hard, and the mattresses had been used a lot. No warm shower was possible. The bed linen was torn, no towels were provided, and many items needed replacement. Everything felt old and worn out, which is a shame, especially considering how clean, well‑maintained, and better it had looked two years ago.

The location is good, but I arrived to find no room available even though my booking was confirmed.
