Everything was clear, ideally located, very well decorated, absolutely quiet, with a parking space available, a nice pool in a chic and elegant setting, and lovely hosts who are helpful and cook very well! A must-visit address if you’re in the area. Honestly, nothing.
An absolutely exceptional stay… At L’Envie, that’s life! ❤️ Huge thanks to Laurence and JP for their professionalism, availability, and especially their incredible kindness. From the moment we arrived and throughout our stay, we were welcomed with a lot of attention and goodwill. L’Envie is a unique place. The setting is magnificent, zen, original, and especially well thought out. Every space, every detail seems designed so that we can truly disconnect and enjoy. And above all, the cleanliness is absolutely impeccable, both in the rooms and throughout the property. The bedding is fantastic, housekeeping is done daily with great care, and the soundproofing is truly excellent. And the little extra you don’t always find everywhere: air conditioning! In the middle of summer, what a joy! In terms of relaxation, it’s just as exceptional: a beautiful saltwater pool, impeccably clean, in a truly pleasant setting, not to mention the sauna. Everything comes together to make you feel in a real little wellness bubble. And then… the breakfasts! 😋 Generous, varied, and especially homemade by our amazing chef JP! It’s hard to stay reasonable… We think we’ll have a quiet breakfast and end up wanting to taste everything! 😂 But as extraordinary as the place is, Laurence and JP are truly its soul. Their kindness, simplicity, professionalism, and all their little attentions make all the difference. They’ve managed to create more than just a bed and breakfast: a true cocoon where you feel wonderfully good. It’s hard to find a negative point… maybe the moment when you have to leave! 😜 Thank you sincerely to both of you for your welcome and for making our stay in Saint‑Gilles‑Croix‑de‑Vie so exceptional.
