“no value for money and no hospitable welcoming atmosphere”
The location is good, but there’s no atmosphere at all—very little lighting in public areas upon check‑in, the reservation couldn’t be found, and a lot of young men were around the lobby near the pool table, clearly not hotel guests. The interior is generally dark, with white CFL energy‑saving lights instead of ambient lighting. The room lacked a desk for work, had loose plugs, curtains that didn’t close, and a flashing light from the smoke detector. The conditioner and shampoo dispenser in the bathroom were empty, and there was only one bath towel and one small hand towel, plus just three hangers in the closet. The restaurant had no bar but a dispensing counter, and the overall vibe was more like a cafeteria than a proper dining area.
