The hotel is beautifully newly renovated and sits in a superb spot in the Kleinwalsertal. The rooms are comfortable and the wellness area is lovely. What really stood out for us was the breakfast buffet – it was fantastic and truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the hotel’s own restaurant was closed on Friday and Saturday evenings, which we found disappointing.

The spa area, variety of breakfasts, rooms, and reception were all excellent. The salad selection was rather sparse, and on one evening there were no salads at all. The staff in the dining area seemed too professional at times – a bit more genuine smiles would have made the experience better. During breakfast I wished for more attention; even with plenty of staff present, it often took a long time before someone noticed me.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, the breakfast was excellent, the mountain view was great, and the wellness area with its extraordinary infinity pool was beautiful. The dinner was especially worth mentioning: I would describe it as Michelin‑level cuisine that also left you full. Otherwise, the hotel serves as a very good starting point for hikes in all directions around the Kleinwalsertal. In the spacious wellness area there is only one shelf with fresh towels and just one container for used towels, which can be inconvenient and is better handled in other hotels. Also, the number of seats in the relaxation area is sometimes too small.
