STF Långholmen Hostel

Breakfast was good. Staying in a former prison cell was a fascinating experience.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Breakfast was excellent. The hostel room was basic but very comfortable. The prison setting was well preserved, fun, warm, and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful. No complaints; I was happy with the room, service, and facilities.

“Une nuit parfaite.”

The location is gorgeous. Breakfast is outstanding, offering a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes. The room was very quiet and the beds extremely comfortable. It would be great to have a small shared kitchen.

“Das perfejte Hotelerlebnis.”

Everything was perfect. I’m completely thrilled. Everything here is just right! For me, there’s no other hotel I’d choose if I came back to Stockholm. Definitely book with breakfast. The buffet selection beats everything else you’d have to buy twice as expensive in Stockholm.

“Boende i vacker miljö, såväl ute som inomhus!”

What did we like? Basically everything, except that we probably should have chosen a room from the hotel side, but that’s our own fault. The best part of the stay is all the surroundings; the world’s best breakfast (Långholmsbrödet …, mmmm!), there seem to be an endless number of seating groups in the corridors and other spaces, so if the room is small, you have to be understanding, you chose it yourself. We had a bathroom/toilet in the corridor and there were no problems. Clean and fresh everywhere, yes, oh beautiful interior. Good with bedside lamps and mobile charging (under the lamp itself). Perfect that the window could be set to open! For us, the only downside was that we chose a room where one of us had to lie in the overbed. It worked fine, but it wasn’t particularly comfortable and for someone who isn’t very athletic, it might be tricky to get up and down.
