“Slechte hygiëne”

Not much to say positively. I can’t understand how the hotel gets such a high rating. It’s so old that’s already a problem. Hygiene was far from good—dirty and grimy, with cockroaches roaming. I left after one day; if I’d arrived earlier I would have left sooner. The owner immediately told me I couldn’t get a refund, even though I never asked for one. So I’m sure I’m not the first to leave early. They can keep that money to fix things. The next day my legs were covered in rashes. The doctor said it was bedbugs. They probably don’t see me anymore.

I spent a month there and the whole time was super comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful, housekeeping did a great job with fresh linens, towels, thorough cleaning, and they refilled drinking water daily. The spot is central but not in the noisy party zone, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and other essentials nearby, all under 10 minutes from the beach. I’d definitely book again.

“Good location and value for money.”

For the price, there’s not much to complain about. The walk up to the room can be a bit tough when you’re tired, especially to the third floor. It’s convenient to eat just below the restaurant and you can do that sometimes, but I still prefer the corner restaurant opposite Indigo Hotel. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and I’d stay again if the price stays right.
