The hotel itself felt pleasant and had all the basics. It’s family‑run with welcoming staff, and the location was absolutely stunning. The only real downside was that the curtains didn’t close well enough.

“I wish the room had smelled better.”

The balcony view was amazing! The place was very quiet, everything clean, and breakfast ran from 7 to 10 AM. It’s close to the beach, and this part of Cyprus is beautiful with almost no crowds. However, breakfast was very simple: cheese, some cold meats, pancakes, eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes, with no fresh fruit or anything local. The biggest issue was a strong, persistent smell in the room—either sewage or dampness—that made the space feel dirty even though it was clean. When I opened the windows in the evening, insects from outside were attracted to the lights and flew in; many bugs got inside, which was very unpleasant. Window screens or some other solution to the smell would help, because keeping the windows open at night was nearly impossible. It’s a shame, especially when you’re by the sea and would like fresh air. Also, the bed was quite hard.

The room was large and clean, with a fantastic sea view and a quick walk to a lovely cove. The downside was that to the right of the balcony there was less attractive development, and breakfast was dull.
