I came from a pension in Šumava and the experience was a heavy disappointment, especially at breakfast where the quality was the same but the price didn't justify it.

The pension sits just a stone’s throw from the attractions that drew us in, so the location is absolutely great; the staff are pleasant, the room is nice and tidy, and the breakfast is superb. The only downside is the firm bed and the steep stairs to the room, which are fine for us but would be a challenge for someone with mobility issues.

The proximity to the castle grounds gives a romantic view, and the accommodation is well designed with an entrance separate from the restaurant. The room is nice, clean, and fragrant, with firmer but comfortable beds, new cherry‑decorated furniture, and plenty of space—ideal for a night after a cultural event. I would improve the shower by fixing the head’s holder and the drainage; adding a hair dryer and travel toiletries would also help. Some might find the breakfast a bit sparse (no ham, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, etc.), but we didn’t mind, and the fried eggs were great.

“Podruhé už bych toto ubytování nevybrala.”

The bathroom is clean and the accommodation is fairly quiet; the staff are very helpful. However, the room’s cleaning and furnishings need more attention—bed slats are missing and dust covers the furniture.

“Low price for being next to the key siteseeing places of Zdar nad Sazavou”

The location is very good and the parking spot is convenient. The room is unremarkable for the price, and breakfast is extremely basic. The dinner at the restaurant was good. The bed was not very comfortable, the TV set is tiny, and the room feels neither very cozy nor very comfortable, but at this price point you can’t expect much more.
