Breakfast was absolutely perfect – everything we wanted was there and we enjoyed a pleasant morning walk to the hotel restaurant. The bed, however, was on a slatted frame; I would have much preferred a solid‑legged bed.

“Beautiful place to stay at the coast with a magnificent view”

What a breathtaking place to stay; the weather cooperated so the scenery was spectacular, truly a once‑in‑a‑lifetime experience. Our room had been nicely renovated, featuring a cool bathroom, air‑conditioning, a coffee machine and even a bottle of sparkling wine. The nearby breakfast spot served one of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Sweden, and the whole area is simply beautiful. Unfortunately we had to clear out quite a few spiders and webs on arrival (thankfully there was a vacuum), and the room was fairly dusty – perhaps it hadn’t been cleaned for a while given the price we paid.

The setting is wonderful and breakfast at a café just 5 km away was excellent; you can walk or drive there. The winter scenery also has its charm, and a small technical issue was resolved quickly and without hassle. However, the location doesn’t justify the price: we arrived in sub‑zero temperatures and the heating couldn’t create a cosy atmosphere, with the bathroom never getting above 18.5 °C.
