The place was clean, but it felt a bit older.

Everything seemed so anti-social, and the staff came off as very distant. This was the first time I'd experienced that. We arrived around 12ish and asked when we could actually get our room; they barely looked at us and said it would cost $30 or $40 extra. Then, when we checked in at 3:00, we were hit with a $135 charge to use the shuttle to Carnival, with no prior notice of a rate hike. The main reason we booked at Comfort was the low shuttle price, so we might as well have booked closer to the ship and walked.

The complimentary breakfast, pool/hot tub, and location were great, but the breakfast lady was a little moody and the menu changed each day—bacon one day, sausage another, potato hash one day, tater tots another.
