Thanks, Valida, for the hospitality! The first room had a broken AC, making it unbearably stuffy and impossible to sleep in. After we complained, they swapped us for a different room, but overall the place never received a thorough cleaning, the beds were uncomfortable, the hot water in the bathroom was unreliable, the plumbing was old and barely functional, and Valida’s husband and his mother were oddly unfriendly and strange.

The garden is lovely, the birds are the happiest, and our room was spacious and wonderful—best bed, best comforters, and amazing showers. We did get an automated message from an affiliated transport service that implied our visit had already happened, which freaked me out while I was hiking and exhausted, but everything else was perfect.

The hosts were great, the room was spacious and clean, and the location is ideal if you want to head to places like Phaselis—there’s a bus stop literally around the corner. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and slept very well in this quiet spot.
