The place is close to a lot of shops and very quiet, which I liked a lot, and it’s only a 5‑minute walk from Legian beach. The rooms feel a bit old‑fashioned though.

Nothing positive here – the whole place is just a mess. From the reception to the dirty rooms, everything is awful. As soon as I walked into the room, a strong mold smell hit me, and the receptionist (if that’s what they call him) was smoking in the reception area! The reception was filthy, with a tiny 2 × 2 m motorbike inside. I immediately changed my mind and booked somewhere else because staying there was impossible.

The location was central, which I liked, but I didn’t like anything else about the place. Some renovation work was going on, but the owner was friendly, helpful, and had a nice smile.

The spot is good and easy to get to by bike or car. It should be made clear that this isn’t a hotel but a homestay. The room was fine, but the lighting inside was very poor. They didn’t even give a bottle of water or any soap in the room. Finding anyone for help was difficult. A person came in the morning to serve breakfast, but it wasn’t even proper.

“Correct”

The room was spacious with clean bedding and a fridge, plus a small terrace. The beach is a 7‑minute walk away, and there are shops, restaurants, and a bar nearby. The area is calm. However, the bedding only had a fitted sheet and a thin blanket that was too small for the bed. There was no mirror in the bathroom, no windows, and the door didn’t close properly. Empty beer cans on the terrace and a cigarette butt in the ashtray were left behind.
