The breakfast was nicely arranged with sausage and cheese platters topped with butter already on the set tables, along with rolls and boiled eggs. Juice, jams, honey, yogurt, etc. were displayed on the counter. The breakfast room was modern and well furnished. The hotel left a shabby, rundown impression. In the stairwell and corridors the carpet was heavily worn and lumpy. The rooms had been renovated in the meantime, with laminate flooring and a shower curtain, and the rest of the furnishings were acceptable. The proximity to the Bundesstraße brought higher noise levels. But for the price, nothing better can be expected. Best regards.

The breakfast was okay. Rooms 4 and 8 had very badly worn carpets. The rugs were old and frayed. In room 4 the mattress was so sagged that every individual spring could be felt; there was no adequate sleep. In room 8 the smoke detector was not mounted on the ceiling but lay on the small dresser. At the sink in the bathroom only the hot‑water tap could be used. The towels were old, frayed, and not clean or tidy. The cold tap could not be opened even with force, so after a minute only hot water came out. The tap itself was heavily calcified and water sprayed in all directions. In room 8 there were only a few sheets of toilet paper left, and no replacement was available. In room 4 it was impossible to wash your face in the bathroom because you couldn’t bend over due to lack of space. This has absolutely nothing to do with “HOTEL” and should not be called a hotel. It was, in short, a complete disaster. Never again Hotel Schürmann. PS: Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the Internet.

The breakfast was very neatly organized, offering only baked rolls and a single cheese variety, with hard‑boiled eggs but no other options; the buffet arrangement felt rather indifferent overall. The room fell into a standard that belongs to a completely different price category, which, as a business traveler comparing many hotels, made this stay feel like a burden; the choice was driven solely by its proximity to a construction site.
