We reached the lodge early, so we could fully enjoy the lovely pool area; the huts we stayed in were spread across the property, giving a spacious feel. The dinner atmosphere was very pleasant, and breakfast was served on the roof of the reception. We got to the car rental in Windhoek without any issues and on time. The pool needs more lounge chairs and especially more umbrellas, and the lodge isn’t listed on Tracks4Africa.

The location was truly fantastic, right in the reserve, with elands grazing beside the lodge in the morning. A late‑afternoon game drive is highly recommended, followed by dinner on return. We’re thrilled we found this gem and could stay for a night. Nothing was lacking; everything was top.

From the reception with Johann to the end, it was a beautiful place to unwind after our Namibian trip, relax, and prep for the flight home. The play of red sand, green trees, and sky was the crowning touch of our breathtaking Namibian journey. All staff were extremely friendly and constantly asked about our wishes. The candlelit dinner was unbeatable in romance. Johann, thank you—you’re the best. Nothing was missing, not even a power outage; the candles added more flair.

The lodges are stunningly situated in the Kalahari, giving a unique atmosphere; the facilities are excellent, the rooms spacious and clean, and the staff are super nice and friendly; the dinner by the campfire under Namibia’s star‑filled sky was enjoyable, and breakfast was also good; the Sundown Game tour is recommended with a great, sympathetic guide; we stayed one night and would definitely recommend this place again; the reserve hosts many animals—giraffes, rhinos, various antelopes, ostriches, and more—making for a memorable short stay.
