The location is great and the beds are very comfortable, and I must note the host’s friendliness and willingness to help. I had booked two rooms and had the whole house to ourselves because there were no other guests, so we didn’t run into space issues. If the other rooms had been rented out, I think the stay would have been less comfortable; in short, I don’t think the property is sized to accommodate multiple family units at the same time unless they travel together. The breakfast could use improvement, and I also point out that the stairs into the apartment are not suitable for small children.

B&B Il Grifo is a snug, privately owned bed‑and‑breakfast in Bomarzo’s historic old town, offering fantastic views of the medieval town and the surrounding countryside, and it’s just a stone’s throw from Sacro Basco. Parking is a few minutes away because that part of town isn’t really accessible by car. The hostess is very friendly and helpful, and I highly recommend the place; we had a wonderful time.
