“Charmantes Zimmer in guter Lage”
The location is pleasant—especially if you’re out at night or not sensitive to noise, since the hotel sits in a trendy area. The room is good, the bed excellent, and the small kitchen is nice. The entrance is pretty winding, so you need to keep your bearings. However, I paid in cash for the room and still haven’t received a receipt or invoice after 10 days.
“Budget stay”
The room was modern, western‑styled, very clean, and stylish. The hot water didn’t last long, and the neighborhood was noisy—what was advertised as a bohemian village turned out to be more of a party strip for Indians, with loud music late into the night that you could feel in the rooms.
“Excellent location, personal. It's loud at nights”
We appreciated the location, with two large, beautiful parks nearby featuring deer, bats, and peacocks, and easy access to fruit stalls, art galleries, and cafés on the street. The manager’s service was impeccable and any issues were resolved immediately. The downside was the very loud music, chatter, and a fight under the windows—noise only eased around 1 a.m. There were ants in the room, and on the third day my dust allergy flared up. The room was clean at first and was cleaned very well, and the staff were impeccable; the problem seems to stem from the ceiling design with large open niches.
Staying in Hauz Khas Village was a unique experience in Delhi; the whole area is lively, artistic, and full of energy. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel at home and welcomed, and I would definitely return.
“Not worth the price.”
The location was fine, but the club music playing until 01:30 made it hard to sleep.
