This was a beautiful cultural experience for us. The owners were so kind and accommodating. We love everything about our stay and only wish it was longer. Highly recommend- dinner and breakfast were very special. Wonderfully authentic. Nothing- the place was a wonderful step into a great cultural experience

I felt the place was very clean and well maintained, but there was no toilet or washbasin in the room and no open-air bath.

We had a fabulous time staying here. The husband and wife who ran the guest house were very friendly and helpful. The guest house was beautiful and so too was the food. We spent two nights there and could not have been happier. The town of Iwamura is very interesting and very peaceful. I highly recommend. Everything was wonderful. Nothing to complain about

I'm still shaking my head about the mix-up with the hotel's location - I thought I was booking in Gifu city, but it turned out to be a 2.5-hour journey away, near Ena. I was traveling solo and it was getting late, so I was pretty stressed when the taxi driver looked just as confused as I was. Luckily, the hotel proprietress was super kind and helped me figure out how to get there, even holding dinner for me till 7:45 PM.
