We especially enjoyed the garden’s beauty and the hosts’ kindness—a charming address we highly recommend for a serene stay.

“Haus mit Charme”
A beautiful old house, lovingly furnished with a large garden. We came with our motorcycles to explore the Vosges. The host was very friendly and helpful, and we were allowed to park the bikes in the garage. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. Breakfast could be taken on the terrace, with some homemade items. Very family‑like and cozy. Breakfast was very sparse; I asked for an egg and it was declined, which I found disappointing. There was no climate control in the room and it was very warm at night.

First time in a guesthouse and everything was pleasant: rustic yet charming décor, spacious room, quiet, very comfortable bed (much better than hotels that leave you with back pain in the morning!), fridge to keep water cool during heatwaves, view of nature, clean and spacious shower room with separate toilet, varied and plentiful breakfast that changes daily (simple and efficient), close to amenities and dining, and most importantly a welcoming, friendly family who takes time to chat with us. Maybe the lack of a fan?
