The space, the quiet location and the pet friendliness. The fresh bread was also a very lovely bonus!. The shower unfortunately went cold on 2 occasions mid shower. Steven came out and assisted to get it working again

Quiet and safe. The gas geyser worked for five minutes before shutting off, leaving me with a brain freeze. We’re familiar with gas geysers—any gas in a bottle? The ice‑cold experience on Monday morning was unexpected.

We had such a nice time and ended up needing to stay another day; the place is rustic and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful scenery. We were greeted with a loaf of bread so fresh we didn’t bother going back to town for supper. Stephen was very friendly and a great host, so if I return to Riversdale I’ll book again. The only thing I’d change next time is to be more organized and bring groceries so I don’t have to think about going to town for supper, because once you arrive you really don’t need to go back.

The location is beautiful, quiet, and in nature, and the host was very accommodating, offering great value for money. The only downside was having to turn off the inverter system because of noise, which also meant the fridge was off and that was a bit inconvenient.
