Unfortunately the photos on Booking look great, but the reality shows how much this place needs work. I booked two days before my stay, and as soon as we arrived the huge chalet felt like a run‑of‑the‑mill property. The interior is a mix of styles that shows no care; the reception is small and unwelcoming, and the cleanliness is noticeably poor. The corridors have old, dusty carpet, and the room’s carpet is also fuzzy and probably not hygienic. The windows, shower, and bathroom are poorly maintained, giving the impression of cheap materials. The price is high for a single night compared to how it looks. I’m particular about cleanliness, and that seemed to be the bare minimum. I couldn’t wait to leave. For the rest, I slept well because I was exhausted.

The rooms were great, the staff was awesome, and the view from the restaurant was beautiful. We had a great dinner the day before starting our TMB. They also offer the service to keep our extra luggage during our hike which is super convenient. We would've stayed longer!
