The spot was great, with nearby restaurants and quiet surroundings. The accommodation had everything you’d need—hot water, good air‑conditioning, and a comfy bed. Despite complaints about dogs, up to five animals visited daily, likely from the next door property, but they never disturbed me. The only downside was that once the tide went out, swimming wasn’t possible; you could only lie on the shallow edge, which was still enough to cool off.

The place was fantastic, the location splendid, and the staff super friendly. Bonus: the manager speaks fluent Dutch. No drawbacks. I extended my initial stay.

The positives include a direct ocean view and a balcony, a great Mambo restaurant just 10 m to the left, and the host’s full organization of a three‑night stay—port transfers, a water tour to Mantá Point (lots of manta rays, just go there for them), a tour of East and West, transfers to Amok and Cactus clubs, and included breakfasts that were decent but not bad. The negatives are minimal renovation, modest bathrooms, but overall it’s acceptable for the price.

The stay was amazing with no problems. The lady who cared for us was very kind and helpful, always attentive to our needs. The room was great, right on the beach and super comfortable.
