Nothing worked out at all. The host cancelled the booking 22 hours in advance, so I couldn't go to Ghent. I'm extremely angry. Everything was awful; she was unreasonable and refused to resolve anything. I had already bought train tickets, which I had to throw away.

The spot is spot‑on – right on the beach and everything you need is right there. I liked how easy it was to get around and the view was great. All in all, a solid choice for a seaside break.

The place sits in a handy spot and the facilities are decent, but it does get a bit noisy when the Gentse Feesten are in town. I could still manage to sleep, though the buzz was noticeable. Still, the location makes up for the occasional racket.

I was surprised to find that breakfast wasn’t included, and there was no iron or ironing board in the room, which was a bit inconvenient. Aside from those missing items, everything else worked fine and the room was clean.

The hotel’s location was excellent, close to everything I wanted to see, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I had no complaints and would stay there again.
