The facilities are very well organized, clean, and the timeless décor is stunning. Guilherme’s service is the real highlight, always helpful, offering tips for places to visit and checking if anything is needed. Breakfast is flawless, Vanessa is a delight (the best banana‑oat cake I’ve ever had). I’d definitely return to Trancoso for the stay and the service at Monkey.

The hotel is fabulous. The grounds, the garden, the décor, and the open‑plan breakfast kitchen are all beautiful. Guilherme accompanied us exceptionally throughout the stay: advice, reservations at private beaches, restaurant recommendations in Trancoso and nearby, plus thoughtful market offerings at breakfast. Bravo! We loved it. The only drawback was the lack of filtered water. Otherwise everything was perfect!

The hotel is very pleasant and cozy. Breakfast is excellent. All staff are incredibly competent, especially Guilherme, who was very helpful with restaurant, tour, and service suggestions.

We really enjoyed this lovely oasis and Guilherme’s hospitality. He was always ready with advice and help, and each morning we had a wonderful breakfast. Truly Brazilian with Vanessa as the chef.
