Probably the best meals I've had in Hokkaido, the shared bathroom was excellent, and the lounge had a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly accommodating. The room itself was just a simple space to sleep in.

The owner was very kind, and each morning I enjoyed watching squirrels and little birds come for food; the meals were healthy and clearly made with care.

The stay was cozy and Naoko-san made us feel truly welcome; her home cooking was wonderful, and we didn't find a single crumb left from any meal. A little squirrel often visits during breakfast, which we enjoyed watching. We also chose to dine there a couple of times and are glad we did. The host handled laundry for us and supplied everything needed to dry it in our room. We had a vehicle, which made getting there easy, but walking anywhere was a bit far. The first day the road was quite rutted from snow, but it was cleared by the following days.
