“Standard Macdonald hotel.”
I loved the location, the staff did everything they could to help, the gym and pool were fantastic, and Calderden Park is right next door for great long walks. We stayed in a back‑room on the second floor and from 0600 the back kitchen door slammed constantly all day, which was super annoying when trying to relax and sleep past the usual alarm time. Our room was also beside a double fire door that banged, so we had a double whammy of doors slamming. A cocktail cost £12.50… this is Glasgow, not London. The hotel feels a bit dated but a decorator was working on it.
